Michel de Matteis is a contemporary French artist, graduated from the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon. His work expresses a deeply personal and contemplative vision of the world, rooted in observation, movement, and an instinctive relationship to landscape. Painting, for de Matteis, becomes a form of visual poetry, a kind of silent versification shaped by the artist’s gaze.
