About the artwork

Released in 2022 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of AllRightsReserved, this complete set of twelve bronze sculptures brings together some of KAWS' most iconic Companion poses. Produced in an edition of 250 sets, each sculpture is individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The set also includes a corresponding NFT that remains unredeemed. Cast in bronze with a sleek black finish, the figures showcase the instantly recognizable visual language that has made KAWS one of the most influential contemporary artists of his generation. Together, the twelve sculptures form a comprehensive overview of the Companion character and its many emotional expressions.

Expert opinion

This complete bronze set is one of the most ambitious and desirable KAWS releases of recent years. By gathering twelve distinct Companion figures in a single edition, it captures the evolution of the artist's most celebrated character while highlighting the crossover between contemporary art, collectible design and digital culture. The combination of a limited edition, bronze casting, NFT integration and the rarity of finding the full set intact makes this work particularly attractive to collectors. As KAWS continues to enjoy strong international demand, complete sets such as this are significantly more sought after than individual figures and represent an important addition to any serious contemporary art collection.
