This large-format acrylic painting (121 × 189 cm) belongs to Alicia LaChance's approach, which combines geometric motifs, varied textures and a luminous palette, creating compositions akin to contemporary mosaics. Her work draws on textile design, architecture and cultural traditions, translating a personal and colorful reading of the modern urban world (Houska Gallery, Saatchi Art).

Born in 1970 in Saint Louis, Missouri, Alicia LaChance is a self-taught American artist. Co-founder of the Hoffman LaChance Contemporary gallery in Saint Louis, she has presented her work in institutions such as the Elmhurst Art Museum, Art Palm Springs and the Gateway Foundation.
