About the artwork

Like an explosion of bright, acid colors, this lithograph is bursting with Takashi Murakami's emblematic flowers and figures. In this kaleidoscope of the artist's references, we discover a field of spring flowers populated by the characters of Kaikai, a gentle white rabbit, and Kiki, a mischievous pink creature with three eyes and vampire-like canines. Their names, Kaikai and Kiki, inscribed in Japanese characters on their ears and translating as supernatural and bizarre, are also the name of the artist's production studio.
