Yolande Bastoni

Born in 1961 in Martigues, Yolande Bastoni or Yo Bastoni is a French artist. After attending the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Nice and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence, she turned to abstraction. Initially part of the geometric abstract art movement, she reduced her work to squares, lines and crosses, before rounding out her forms and making them more pop. Her work has been presented by Galerie Berthéas in Saint Étienne, Vichy and Paris, and by Galerie Jane Griffiths in Val D'Isère.
