Koharutie

Born in Japan in 1977, Koharutie lives and works in Hiroshima. Her artistic approach is part of a genre of her own invention: Emo-Pop Art. In watercolors reminiscent of children's illustrations, she brings her anxieties to life, creating works full of paradoxes, between gentleness and violence. Koharutie's work has been exhibited internationally, including in France at Galerie 13 - Jeannette Mariani (Paris).
