Jean-Pierre Henaut

Born in Paris in 1942, Jean-Pierre Henault is a French artist who graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 1965. Active in the art world, he has served on the boards of major art fairs, and as General Curator of the Salon pour les Artistes Français and the Salon d'Automne. Jean-Pierre Henault's luminous, figurative art explores highly structured perspectives, often inspired by coastal landscapes. Jean-Pierre Henault was awarded the Médaille d'Honneur by the Salon des Artistes Français and has won several distinctions, including the Lila Acheson-Wallace Prize from Reader's Digest in 1986. His work has been exhibited throughout the world, with over thirty solo shows, and has been acquired by the Fonds National d'Art Contemporain.
