Herbert Baglione

Born in Brazil in 1977, Herbert Baglione is an internationally recognized urban artist. Exploring complex themes, notably death, Herbert Baglione expresses himself through a variety of media including illustration, painting and urban interventions. He uses sidewalks, rooftops and lawns as creative supports, populating forgotten places with ghosts with elongated limbs. His artistic palette oscillates between black and white, dark and light, highlighting the shadows that characterize his work. His work is exhibited around the world, his best-known show being "1000 Shadows", featuring his wiry black figures in the often-abandoned spaces of major cities such as Paris and Sao Paulo.
