Hadrien Dussoix

Born in Geneva in 1975, Hadrien Dussoix lives and works in Switzerland. A graduate of the Haute école des arts de Genève (HEAD), his work won the Swiss Art Award (Basel) for three consecutive years between 2006 and 2008. His eclectic productions explore notions of appropriation, history and dialogue. Dussoix likes to make connections by highlighting differences, shifting from geometric abstraction to street art references and back again. Inspired by popular culture, art history and visual icons, Dussoix adopts an approach that is both critical and playful, encouraging viewers to question the conventions of art. His work has been exhibited in numerous Swiss and international museums and institutions. He took part in Art Miami and the Brafa Art Fair in Brussels in 2022.
