François Righi

François Righi is a contemporary French artist born in 1963. He is best known for his work exploring the relationship between space, geometry and visual perception. Righi is interested in how geometric shapes and structures can be used to question our relationship with the world and the environment. His work is both abstract and conceptual, reflecting on spatiality and the impact of geometric forms on human experience. He uses a variety of media to express his ideas, including painting, sculpture and installations. Righi has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and institutions across France, taking part in solo and group shows including Galerie Schumm-Braunstein in Paris in 2025, Galerie Capazza in Nançay in 2019 and Bibliothèque Abbé-Grégoire in Blois in 2011.
