Bai Yiluo

Chinese artist born in 1968. Lives and works in Beijing (China). Trained as a photographer, Bai Yiluo turned to art through Ai Weiwei, where he worked as an assistant. Through everyday objects, the artist tackles the question of identity and the unbridled production of our contemporary world. Committed, his art approaches the human condition as a cyclical struggle. Bai Yiluo's work has been featured in the exhibition "Alors, la Chine?" at the Centre Pompidou (Paris, France), the Victoria & Albert Museum (London, UK) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago (USA). Bai Yiluo is collected by the Saatchi Gallery (London, UK) and the White Box Art Center (Beijing, China).
