About the artwork
This is a photo painting created by Corinne Dalle Ore and Frédérique Barraja in 2013. It depicts a naked woman hiding her face in the heart of an undergrowth. The collage technique, very common among pop art artists, enables a collision between the world of the press and that of street art, through the presence of graffiti in the foreground.
Expert opinion
The striking character of the work is the result of a detour from the traditional codes of history painting. Barraja and Dalle Ore have joined forces to offer the public a contemporary world view. The liveliness of the red tones and coulures contribute to the captivating character of "Up All Night".
