About the artwork
The image of the artist's alter-ego, his famous "pioneer girl" from the "Komsomol" (Soviet youth), is recaptured in this series of drawings in a fairytale world filled with mushrooms. Although reminiscent of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", the artist has created a work that takes a stand against communist power and propaganda.
Expert opinion
This drawing is a perfect illustration of Dasha Fursey's committed work.
