Artist Wang Qiang plunges us into the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion. This Japanese animated series, a huge hit since its broadcast in the late 1990s, left its mark on an entire generation and continues to be a veritable pop culture phenomenon. Invoking biblical references, the series is set in a post-apocalyptic science-fiction universe. The saga's characters, who symbolize contemporary struggles, have become icons of international stature. The result is an immersive experience in which time and space no longer hold sway over the viewer.
