About the artist
Gongkan, born in Bangkok, is a contemporary Thai artist trained in communication design at Silpakorn University. He made a name for himself with his "Teleport Art" series, in which figures pass through black portals, symbols of inner freedom and passage between worlds. Influenced by pop art, street art and digital culture, his work tackles themes such as identity, sexuality and mental escape. Exhibited internationally, Gongkan has established himself as one of the rising stars of Asian visual art.
