About the artist
Born in Hong Kong in 1986, Kila Cheung is a Chinese painter and sculptor. A graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic, he works in the colorful world of childhood and dreams with a hint of rebellion. His work was awarded the prestigious Young Design Talent Award in 2016 and the Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards in 2019. Although mainly exhibited in Asia, the artist made his European debut in 2023 with his first solo show entitled "Peace of Freedom", organized at London's Ojiri Gallery. However, his work is renowned internationally thanks to collaborations with world-famous brands such as UNIQLO, IKEA and Kiehl's.
