À propos de l'œuvre

A red heart-shaped balloon, rendered with volumetric precision and reflective surfaces, dominates the central composition. The balloon is depicted wearing a light blue surgical face mask, positioned across its lower half. The background features a muted, textured surface that suggests a concrete wall, marked with subtle graffiti-like forms and drips in shades of gray and faint red. The overall impression is that of a three-dimensional object set against an urban backdrop, with the mask introducing a contemporary cultural reference. The artwork employs a visual metaphor, combining a universal symbol of love and affection with an object associated with public health and protection. The juxtaposition of the inflatable heart—typically a lighthearted or romantic motif—with the utilitarian face mask suggests themes of vulnerability, care, or perhaps confinement during a specific global event. The stylistic execution—with its blend of realistic rendering of the heart and mask against a street art-inspired background—positions the piece within a contemporary urban art discourse.
