Siltof

Siltof (real name Christophe Petitjean) began working with flat glass in 1991 as a self-taught artist at Miroiterie Petitjean, which he now runs, and where he combined cutting-edge technology and traditional know-how from the outset. In 2014, his meeting with Yann Zoritchak (renowned glassmaker and sculptor) prompted him to launch himself as a glass sculptor artist under the name Siltof, a fusion of his first name and "silica", the essential element of glass. His sculptures, made from the purest glass, play with light, shapes and reflections, creating enchanting pieces. In 2021, he will collaborate with Olivier Juteau to create a glass sword for Boucheron, designed by Claire Choisne. He has won several awards, including the Josette Renaux Grand Jury Prize at the FIMA competition in Baccarat in 2019 and the silver medal in sculpture at the Vittel show in 2023. Siltof regularly exhibits at Galerie Raugraff in Nancy and Galerie Pygmalion in Saint-Nazaire.
