Pascal Haudressy

Pascal Haudressy (1968 - 2021) is a French artist of Tatar origin. After spending ten years at Unesco and collaborating with internationally renowned artists, he decided to devote himself fully to his own artistic work from 2005 onwards. His works, including sculptures, installations and videos, are distinguished by their technicality and innovative technology, exploring the mutations of reality and the plurality of new experiences that result. Tackling themes such as viruses, cloning, nanotechnologies, robotics and virtual reality, his work carries a symbolic dimension and questions the future of mankind. Pascal Haudressy was the winner of the Cité internationale de la tapisserie d'Aubusson's fifth call for entries in 2014, and was Grand Prize winner of the "Détroit de Bering" competition in 2009. His work is exhibited around the world, including at the Shanghai Art Fair (China) in 2008, the Busan Biennale (Korea) in 2017 and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris in 2020.
