Lady M

Born in Lyon in 1988, Lady M, whose real name is Emilie Sajot, began her artistic career studying interior architecture and set design. In 2008, she joined the Paris Opera as a painter and decorator. From 2015 onwards, she devoted herself fully to her career as a visual artist, putting her signature for the first time on a fresco. Maintaining her attraction to large formats and color, she then worked on installations integrating video, photography and performance. Inspired by the notion of space, she redefines man's place in a constantly changing environment, in search of a horizon and landmarks that legitimize his existence. In 2018, she was invited by the M.U.R association to create a large-scale mural at 105 rue Oberkampf in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. In 2020, she will present her work in a group show at Galerie Barthélemy Bouscayrol in Biarritz.
