Jisbar
Born in Val d'Isère in 1989, Jean-Baptiste Launay, aka Jisbar, is a French artist. His style is characterized by a reinterpretation of the great works of art history, such as Klimt, Vermeer and Michelangelo, incorporating his own touch of pop and street art. Jisbar has established himself as a bridge between traditional art history and modern urban aesthetics. His work was soon exhibited in several countries: in 2016 at the Cité nationale de l'immigration in Paris, in 2018 at Gallery 444 in San Francisco, in 2022 in Taipei and again in 2022 at the Sist'Art Gallery in Venice. He also collaborates with brands such as J.M. Weston.
