Janaina Mello Landini

Born in 1974 in São Gotardo, Janaina Mello Landini is a Brazilian artist. Having studied architecture at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil), her training has had a profound influence on her artistic approach, particularly in the way she conceives space and structure in her works. She often combines architectural principles with concepts drawn from physics and biology, creating installations that question the relationship between form, matter and space. Her work is characterized by the exploration of notions of time and space through immersive installations. One of his most famous series, Ciclotrama, is composed of intertwined cords that evoke organic networks, symbolizing the complex connections between living beings and their environment.
