Hanae Sabir

Born in Morocco in 1987, Hanae Sabir is a prize-winner at the Beaux-Arts de Tanger art school and a visual artist encouraged by her art teacher father. A prolific artist, she soon made a name for herself, winning numerous prizes in drawing and painting competitions in Tangier, Cairo and Spain. She exhibited for the first time at the "8 Mars 8 Femmes" event in Tangier. In 2008, she represented Morocco at the prestigious Biennale des Arts. Among her main artistic references, Sabir cites Juan Miro, Wassily Kandinsky, Rebecca Horn and Gharbaoui.
