David Hockney

David Hockney is an English painter, draughtsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, in 1937 and studied at the Bradford School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London. He emerged as a significant figure in the Pop Art movement of the 1960s, though his work often transcended strict categorization.
