Cecilia Djk
Born in 1993, Cécilia DJK lives and works in the Paris region. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rennes, she has spent over a decade developing a pictorial practice she describes as a “work of accumulation”: a juxtaposition of forms, colors, and pigments where feelings, movements, and questions intertwine. Alongside painting, she also explores writing and photography, further enriching her visual language. Inspired by nature, diverse cultures encountered during her travels, and both personal and collective experiences, Cécilia DJK embraces an approach that is both aesthetic and socially engaged. Her vivid, narrative style combines bright colors with provocative drawing to engage an audience that is curious and open-minded. She aims to create works that stir emotion, raise awareness, and spark dialogue about the drifts of contemporary society and the search for identity among younger generations.
