Anne Commet

Born in Bordeaux in 1962, Anne Commet lives and works in Mont-de-Marsan in the Landes region. After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, she turned to abstract painting, influenced by lyrical expressionism and the great colorists. Her works, shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France, notably at Galerie Egrégore, are acclaimed for their gestural strength and their ability to convey pure emotion through color and material. Commet defines his painting as "a free space where light and color dialogue".
