Andrzej Urbanski

Born in Poland in 1983 and based in Berlin for several years, Andrzej Urbanski has developed a vibrant, geometric body of work, nourished by his background in graffiti, design and abstract painting. Initially trained in public spaces, he soon transferred the energy of urban muralism to the canvas, while maintaining a rigorous focus on shapes, lines and colors. His work, deeply rooted in contemporary geometric abstraction, explores the tensions between structure and spontaneity. Urbanski composes dynamic visual architectures where incisive diagonals, fragmented surfaces and chromatic modulations intersect. His precise, almost digital aesthetic reflects his interest in systems, pictorial algorithms and the way the eye reconstructs movement. For over ten years, Urbanski has exhibited regularly in Europe, the United States and Asia. His works are part of numerous international private collections. With his instantly recognizable visual language, he has established himself as one of the singular voices on today's abstract scene, at the crossroads of street art, design and contemporary optical research.
