Anderson & Low
Jonathan Anderson and Edwin Low, known collectively as Anderson & Low, are fine art photographers who have collaborated since 1990. Their extensive body of work encompasses portraiture, architectural studies, abstract images, reportage, nudes, and landscape photography. The duo is recognized for their meticulous attention to concept, form, lighting, and printing in their artistic practice. Anderson & Low have gained recognition for projects exploring athletes and sports, as well as themes of costume and identity. Their work has been exhibited globally and is included in numerous public and private collections, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the National Portrait Galleries of both the UK and Australia. They were official artists for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad and have received an Honorary Fellowship from the Royal Photographic Society. Their projects often question the boundaries between photography and other visual arts, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality.
