Ana Cristina Leite

Born in 1964 in Porto, Ana Cristina Leite is an artist who lives and works in Portugal. Born into a family of artists, she studied Fine Arts at the University of Porto before her practice earned her international recognition. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and contemporary art fairs around the world, including Miami Basel, FIAC Paris and Art Dubai. In addition to her international recognition, Ana Cristina Leite enjoys a well-established reputation in Portugal, where she has had several solo exhibitions in galleries across the country, including the Mário Sequeira Gallery in Braga. Over the years, Ana Cristina Leite has received numerous awards for her work. She has received numerous awards, including the Prémio Ateneu Comercial do Porto, and honorable mention at the Fidelidade prize in 1997.
