Alex de Fluvia

Born in 1965, Alex de Fluvia initially studied art history at the University of Barcelona, where he developed a deep interest in modern art. In 1987, a trip to Madrid led to an exhibition of Mark Rothko's work, an experience that marked the beginning of his fascination with color and emotion in art. In 1996, he decided to devote himself fully to painting and moved to New York to study at the School of Visual Arts. It was in his Williamsburg studio that he began to create large-scale works, also integrating photography into his work. His first exhibitions took place at the Jan Abrams Fine Arts Gallery, where his unique style quickly attracted attention. After several years in New York, he returned to Barcelona in 2001, where he presented his work in various local galleries, consolidating his reputation on the Spanish art scene.
