Alain Jacquet

Alain Jacquet (born 1939 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France) was a French artist known for his contributions to the Pop Art movement. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and later became associated with the Nouveau Réalisme group. Jacquet's practice included painting, collage, and installation, often employing techniques such as silkscreen printing to explore themes of consumerism and mass media. He gained recognition for his innovative use of imagery and color, which reflected the visual culture of the 1960s. His works have been exhibited in prestigious institutions, including the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and the Centre Pompidou. Jacquet's art is held in various collections, including the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
