About the artist
Born in East Germany in 1981, Super Future Kid is an artist who now lives and works in the United States. After graduating from the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin in 2008, she moved to New York to pursue her artistic activity. Her work is marked both by the culture shock she experienced following the fall of the Berlin Wall and by her interest in pop culture. Her work blends a pop aesthetic with imagery inspired by the culture of the 1980s and 1990s. Super Future Kid explores contemporary themes and reflects on the human condition through a childlike, playful and colorful prism. She has exhibited her work in several group and solo shows, notably in New York in 2024 at Allouche Gallery and at Mindy Solomon Gallery in Miami in 2022.
